Restore your Account Settings

Note: This information applies to computers running Microsoft Windows 95/98, Me, NT, 2000, and XP Operating Systems.

AT&T Worldnet(R) Service has several tools that can quickly and automatically restore your account settings and passwords. If you're a Windows user, you're likely to have one of these tools on your PC right now.

  1. From the Start menu, choose Programs.
    • If you have an AT&T Connection Services Manager program group, choose Restore My Account. You'll get the following screen:



    • If you have an AT&T Worldnet Service or AT&T Worldnet Software program group, choose AT&T Worldnet Fix It. You'll get the following screen:



    • If you have neither of the above items, you can use the instructions for setting up an account on a new or different computer.
