PWP Authentication Errors
These are the most frequent errors encountered when trying to access http://publish.att.net. Just select an error message to see an explanation and solution.
This can be caused by maintenance, or a network or server problem. We have PWP system status available for you. If there's a situation we're not aware of, or if you need further assistance, please post in the worldnet.help.pwp.general newsgroup. You have used the incorrect password for this account. Please correct it before you try again; be aware that the e-mail password is case-sensitive. The e-mail ID you supplied was not valid; please make sure you are typing it correctly. You have failed too many authentications in a short period of time. Please try again later or call customer care.
After several consecutive failures a lockout is placed on your account for a period of time as a security measure. Continued authentication attempts will extend the lockout period. Although the error message suggests calling customer care, your only recourse is to try again later. Our agents are unable to override this lockout. The lockout also affects your ability to access Member Services Web pages. This is generally caused by not having cookies enabled in your browser; cookies are required for the authentication process to succeed. Re-enable cookies and you will be able to access the publishing area. If you require further assistance, please post in the worldnet.help.pwp.misc newsgroup. Further assistance is available by posting in the worldnet.help.pwp.misc newsgroup.
