Using AutoRestore on Windows 98, 2000, NT, Me, or XP

Important: We strongly suggest you print this page and put it in a safe place, or save it on your computer's hard disk.

With different versions of software available, these steps may look slightly different on your computer.


Procedure 1
  1. From the Start menu, select Programs, then AT&T Connection Services Manager, and choose Signup for AT&T Worldnet Service. The Select Account screen will open.
  2. Choose I already have an account I would like to modify or use on this computer and click the Next button.



  3. Once you are connected to the Registration server, enter your member verification.
  4. Choose your access number.



  5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the AutoRestore process.
  6. Once you've completed the restore, you can choose to connect right away. Congratulations!




Procedure 2
  1. From the Start menu, select Programs, then Online Services, and choose AT&T Worldnet Signup.
  2. Click Sign Me Up. Follow the on-screen prompts.



  3. Once you are connected to our computer, click the button labeled I'm already a member.



  4. You will then be asked to go through a simple authentication process. Then just follow the instructions on the screen to complete the AutoRestore process.

Procedure 3
  1. From the Start menu, select Programs, select AT&T Worldnet Service and choose AT&T Worldnet Setup.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts. From the first screen, click Select from other account options.
  3. Click Restore an account from the AT&T Worldnet Server, then go on to the next step.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts. Once you are connected, click I'm already a member. You will then be asked to go through an authentication process. Then, follow the instructions on the screen to complete the AutoRestore process.
