What Version of AT&T Worldnet(R) Service Software do I Have?
To find the version of your AT&T Worldnet(R) Service software:
- Double-click the AT&T Worldnet Service software on your desktop. The Log on window will appear.
- Click the Settings button or link. The Settings window will appear. If you do not have a Settings button or link, then you are using AT&T Worldnet Service Connection Manager 5.x or earlier.
- On the left-hand side of the window, click the Customer Care menu. Sub-menus will appear under it.
- Click the System Summary sub-menu. On the right-hand side of the window, you will find all your system information.
- Look at the first line that says CSM. To the right of that will be the version number.
Note: If you are using Microsoft Windows 95B, the highest version of the AT&T Worldnet Connection Services Manager you can upgrade to is 6.2.3. However, if you are on the AT&T Internet Family Plan, the highest version is 6.2.4.
To save this information to a file on your computer if you are using AT&T Worldnet Connection Services Manager 6.2 or higher:
- Click the Copy All to Clipboard button.
- Launch Microsoft Word or Notepad.
- From the Edit menu, choose Paste. This will paste the information into the document for future reference.
- Save the document.
Note: There is a wealth of information available in the AT&T Worldnet Connection Services Manager 6.x or 7.x program group. From the Start menu, select Programs or All Programs, select AT&T Connection Services Manager, and choose WnClient Help.

If you have Mac OS version 9.x, our software will configure the installed version of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Outlook Express. If it is not already installed, the CD comes with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.
If you have Mac OS X version 10.1 and up, our software will configure Microsoft Internet Explorer that is already installed on the system.
If you have Mac OS X version 10.3, our software will configure Safari to access AT&T Worldnet Service.
