Dear AT&T Worldnet® Service Member:
We hope that you are enjoying your AT&T Worldnet Service. As part of our continual effort to enhance our Internet services and provide you with the best possible Internet experience, in the coming month we will be making some updates to your AT&T Worldnet Service.
Enhancements for Your Convenience
We've recently made some updates to some of our features to offer you even greater flexibility and convenience.
- A "New Mail" Indicator
on the att.net home page lets you know when new mail has arrived so you can see right from the home page when you have new messages.
Also, on or about February 17, 2008 the following new features will be available:
- A New Calendar Application:
The calendar feature in your AT&T Webmail will be updated with a new look and functionality so it is integrated with the calendar feature on your personalized home page. That means you can access it either way through AT&T Webmail, or just sign in to the site to see your personalized page and click on the Calendar tab!
- A New Photo Album Application:
Upload and store your photos online using this new tool on the home page. You can edit your photos and organize them to create your own online photo albums to share with family and friends.
Changes to Sign In
In addition to the enhancements mentioned above, we are making other changes to the sign in area for both your personal home page and AT&T Webmail to provide added security. The following changes for the "Remember Me" option will become effective on or about Feb. 17:
- AT&T Webmail:
When you sign in to your AT&T Webmail and click the "Remember Me" option, your log-in information will be retained for up to 14 days (as long as you don't sign out or clear the "cookies" in your browser). This means that you won't need to log in each time. However you will be required to sign in again periodically -- after the 14 day period, or if you sign out any time during the 14 day period - so please take note of your log-in information.
- Personalized Home Page:
If you have personalized your att.net home page, once you have signed in to the site, you'll remain signed in and can view your personal settings - such as weather, stocks, color preferences, etc. - for up to 6 months (as long as you don't sign out or clear your cookies).
Important!
Please note that even if you have previously checked the "Remember Me" option, you will need to sign in after this new time limit becomes effective on Feb. 17, so please make note of your sign-in information now. (If you forget your password, you can re-set it by clicking "Forgot My Password" when signing in.)
For more details on any of these changes and to learn more, please review the Frequently Asked Questions at http://att.net/features/faqwn0208.html
We hope you will enjoy the enhancements to your AT&T Worldnet Service. As always, we value your business and look forward to serving your Internet needs for years to come. Thank you for continuing to choose AT&T.
Sincerely,
Your AT&T Worldnet Service Customer Care Team
